God In Everyday Life Enriches The Soul

Amidst the busy life you are leading in right now, take the time to learn the daily struggles of a less fortunate family with extremely limited cash to feed them and make life a little better.  Or think about those people with no jobs and with children to care.  Consider yourself working in a company with no health insurance, as well as retirement plan.  Think of being employed for the sake of money to maintain a costly medication.  These are just few of circumstances different people are facing with everyday of their life, particularly the poor ones.

Being poor can be totally draining and stressful.  Imagine the daily dilemma of having to find ways to earn money to support the entire family.  This justifies the increasing mental health problems among the impoverished members of the society.  Who wouldn’t be burned out with so many problems to face, all of which seem to never end.  These are only few concerns of the poor and it may even occur to you, what could be more painful than all of these?

When it dawned on you that certainly, nothing can be more distressing and hopeless than the circumstances mentioned above, look closely again.  This time, comprehend much better.  You really think that there is nothing more gloomy and oppressive than those previously recognized?  Well, let me tell you that there is. Or in my level of understanding and with regards to my belief, there are more agonizing events and circumstance than being monetarily poor.  And such is being poor in spirit.

In this changing world, being poor may be taken differently.  As initially stated above, those deal on people with no monetary wealth to boast.  Being poor is not necessarily about having no properties or possessions to make known to the world, or money to buy decent food and clothing.  Even with millions of money in your account, yet you are spiritually hungry, you are poor.

To enrich your life, make GOD the center of your being.  Take Him as so much part of who you are, of your everyday life for only then you will have a clearer picture of what you came here for.  In whatever you do and will do, do them for God’s greater glory.  It may be relatively easy to follow the wrong path, than to abide in His ways.  But as a person, it is your responsibility to adhere to what is right and delight GOD in every possible way you can think of.

You are very much capable of prospering your life, in however you want it to be.  You can start by abiding in His ways, as you make Him part of your everyday existence.  True we all need money to survive.  But there are definitely more important things in this world than just money.  In fact, the essential things are those that money cannot buy.  There is the priceless gift of love, family and friendship to value.  If you have all these, you are richer than anyone who based his or her wealth on earthly possessions.  Nurture your GOD given talents and responsibilities.  You have relationships to think of, most important of which, is your relationship with GOD.  Strengthening your bond with the Him will simply color everything, as you will be pushed out in the tangle mess of everyday life.

You may be monetarily poor with no house to live and no food to eat on a regular basis, but if you have GOD, family and friends, as well as values that you hold dear, you are wealthy.  In whatever tribulations and ambiguities, if you have GOD in your everyday life, no doubt you can surpass every trial on your way, as you will be greatly protected, for you have with you the Most High.  Accordingly, keep your spirits up and rejoice in the glory of GOD.

Everyday is a daily struggle for some people. And all of us have been through and will still be dealing different issues and concerns every once in a while and at some point in life. Thanks to you and your great article. This one is truly uplifting. It helps to be reminded that amidst all trials we all face in life, there is one great GOD to see us through every storm, to hold our hands or carry us when the trudge seems unbearable. Keep up and continue inspiring people!

Indeed and very well-said! Thanks for your great input. Very much appreciated. You know, I've been through a lot in life... the bumpy rides... betrayals, pains, sorrow and a lot more... but Im still here... alive, stronger, happier and a better person and and it's all because of God. Without HIM I think I can't be completely happy living day to day... =)

But yeah, you both are correct that God is always there to help us in our daily struggles. Even if everything are hopeless God still bestowed us hope more that enough to make us stand and face trials. I've experienced the presence of God a lot and it's more than enough to say, God you really are a God.

Let me share my opinion and deep concern:

You have my vote. Honestly, everytime I see poor people on the street or anywhere else I have these mixed emotion inside. Guilt and anger…. why guilt? Simply because I have things that they couldn’t have and I spend money sometimes not really worth for it, my heart is tearing apart when I see poor children roaming around without any guardian of their parents. Imagine the daily hunger they bump into especially kids and they don’t really deserves that. Sometimes anger because they let poverty came in to their life but I’m not really blaming them for all those cause, in my opinion, they are also victims of past circumstances. They can’t afford to buy foods, shelters, and other necessary needs in able to survive well and how about strengthening their faith in God? Those I mentioned basic needs should fulfilled first before they strengthen their love to others and faith in God (in my opinion only, how can you pray well is your stomach is hungry? See what I mean, I’m hoping that they will surpass all their trials and reach God. We are really fortunate than others! yes all God’s creations has purpose, it’s up to us how we use it wisely and results will depend upon us.

“You may be monetarily poor with no house to live and no food to eat on a regular basis, but if you have GOD, family and friends, as well as values that you hold dear, you are wealthy” ------------ Remarkable word of wisdom and truly inspiring!
