Sherri Lynn...Starting Over, My Dream
Sherri Lynn...Starting Over, My Dream
My sister sent me today and I was inspired to share my story with you. See in 1999 I had my ministry flowing in the right direction then I got hurt and was unable to fallow my dreams with my music and unable to work. My mom supported me in all the dreams I went for in my life and I was just getting started again with her watching me work. It made me feel so good for my mom to be a part of my music and getting to see me sing again. She passed away last year on October 14,2008. I received my record deal with Emerald Records on February 12, 2009. I know her spirit will always be in my Heart but I do wish she could have seen all that has happened since then. When I see the footage of my new video we just put on youtube called, "Sherri Lynn on Tour" I cried. I was so over whelmed with all the miracles that God has done for me. To see and hear myself singing again I felt so blessed. See, in July of 2000 I had to have surgery on my throat, I had 2 tumors and the Doctor said after surgery I might not be able to sing again. There for a while it was hard I couldn't even scream and had a hard time hitting my notes. I just kept on singing at church and praying that someday I would be able to sing again for God and to help Inspire others.
I kept remember something that Medow Lark Lemon said to me when he came on my TV
I want to share with you my new video on youtube, I know it is a little dark and the sound is not perfect but to me it is perfect because it is a blessing to be able for me to get the opportunity to sing again. I hope that all my fans like it; we had fun making it in Indianapolis Indiana. I sang at Lizards Tavern on Open Mic night and yes I was singing Country / Gospel in a Hard Rock Tavern but they all said they loved it. We were in Indiana for orientation to sing May 2nd at the 500 Mini-Marathon Festival. Plus we went to Noodles & Company and ate did some Promotions and the food and service was the best, Zach was our server and he did a great job. I thank God for making all this Possible. I want all to know that I appreciate you taking time today to share this story and reading my other blogs and my music.
May God Bless and Keep You!
